We’re now looking for an experienced Full-stack Developer to join our awesome. team, working on a range of exciting projects.

As an awesome. developer, you'll be involved in creating web apps, sites and interactive digital experiences for clients across a variety of industries. The right person will be a full-stack PHP developer that can immerse themselves in modern, forward-thinking methods of web development and push the boundaries of our agency’s offering.

You’ll be working alongside our Digital Director as well as our team of designers, copywriters, web developers, project managers and other creatives. Required Skills:

  • Experience in creating web apps using Laravel & React for production
  • Strong well-rounded knowledge of PHP, JavaScript and OOP
  • Experience in using JSON/Rest APIs
  • Creating responsive websites using HTML, CSS, SASS & BEM
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • GIT
  • MYSQL
  • Redis
  • Understanding of best practices in Authentication and Security in developing web & mobile apps

Desirables:

  • Experience in NextJS
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Server administration
  • React Native
  • GSAP or Similar animation library
  • CI/automated testing

Essentials:

  • 3 Years' Experience
  • Experience in creating web Laravel apps for production and maintaining them
  • Passion for creating user-focused responsive websites and apps
  • Self-motivated and have a passion for developing themselves and pushing the boundaries of the work they produce
  • Broad interest in digital creativeness
  • Able to work independently and as a team
  • Contribute to workshops with clients and within the team
  • An eye for detail
  • A strong desire to develop the role and lead, mentor and guide junior developers

Job Role:

  • Work closely with the digital director and design team to create websites, interactive experiences, and apps
  • Support junior web developers
  • Review pull-requests
  • Maintain internal apps and websites
  • Client support including bug fixing and maintenance
  • Ability to communicate and demonstrate technical issues to clients and our team
  • Contribute to project proposals and proofing of works to clients
  • You will be working remotely but must be available to come into the Barnsley office when required and weekly dev meetups in Sheffield

Salary and Perks

Salary

£25,000-£40,000 (full-time)
