Role Description

We’re on a mission to become one of the UK’s leading creative agencies across content, design, and development—serving both businesses and the public sector. To help drive this vision, we’re looking for a strategic, ambitious Business Development Manager to uncover new opportunities, build lasting relationships, and shape our long-term growth.

You’ll work closely with our creative, strategy, and delivery teams to guide the agency into new territory. We’ve already partnered with global brands like Warner Music and The Carlyle Group, as well as major institutions such as the National Coal Mining Museum and The University of Sheffield.

This isn’t a typical sales role. We want someone who thinks big, collaborates deeply, and is ready to help take us to the next level.

What you'll be doing:

  • Identify new business leads, markets, and partnerships
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
  • Deliver sales presentations, negotiate, and close deals
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Develop a business development strategy aligned with our mission
  • Follow up on leads and attend client meetings
  • Collaborate with leadership on growth strategies
  • Maintain client relationships and gather feedback
  • Spot market gaps to expand or diversify services
  • Grow presence in South Yorkshire and beyond
  • Represent the agency at events and client meetings
  • Reflect our brand values in all engagements
  • Report on performance in weekly meetings
  • Develop strategic partnerships to enhance offerings
  • Help shape and lead a future account management team

Essential Skills:

  • Proven track record in lead generation and high-value sales within digital agencies
  • Solid understanding of branding, photo/video, and web development
  • Confident with HubSpot, Monday.com, or similar
  • Skilled in setting KPIs and performance reporting
  • Strong B2B and public sector market knowledge
  • Brings international experience or ambition
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Commercially savvy with a knack for spotting and acting on opportunities
  • Experienced in public sector tenders and large proposals
  • Creative thinker who challenges the norm
  • Team player who thrives in collaborative settings
  • Proactive, resilient, and results-driven
  • Comfortable with field sales and face-to-face meetings (UK driving license required)
