- what do you do at awesome.?
Think, Create, Strategise and Relate to all things awesome.! My role as founder and creative director is driving forward projects and exciting creations alongside our design and content team. We love to produce work that solves problems and leaves our clients and their audience smiling. I also drink coffee and wear hats where my ears can poke out - it's my thang.
- what made you choose this skill/career?
Since a little kid, I've had a pencil in one hand drawing and a camera in other photographing anything and everything that allowed me to be creative and most importantly, that was fun to do. I knew I belonged in the creative industry one way or another - I just wanted to do what I loved for a living. I nearly chose the Architecture route upon completing school, but found a career working as a designer in the music industry which fused two of my main interests.
- what are you currently working on?
We have a really cool project ongoing that's covering all aspects of what our agency has to offer. I'm currently working through a a rebrand and content strategy that will really elevate the storytelling of what our client does, and it will showcase their brand ethos. I'm also working on a way to have a bottomless coffee cup solution but this has been in the works for the past 16 years and counting...
- what things have you seen recently that you thought were awesome.?
Peeps should take a look at @filmmkrs on instagram if they're not already following. I've followed them for quite some time, but the recent BTS work by Alexander Stanishev showing his camera-panning trickery is really cool and worth the watch.
- you meet your other version from the multiverse - what do you do and what are you like (explain)?
I pursued my school-kid dream of taking my band to the top, playing fast punk rock music and never ageing. I employ this universes version of myself to design the record sleeves. We argue over how to drink coffee but our love for living the dream keeps the respect alive. Multiverse-me models themselves on Axel from Crazy taxi - he's my son's favourite character when we play so it makes sense. I still wear hats with my ears poking out from time to time - it's also his thang.

We get to create some really exciting and cool things for our clients whilst being able to enjoy the life around us, not only in work. We want this be a legit awesome. experience for all who are a part of the journey - our team, families, clients, everyone. It's why we're called what we are, after all.
- what’s your go to work-song?
'Genesis' - Grimes. A fitting title to my journey with awesome. and it's just a reyt mint tune all year round. Listen - Enjoy!
